Mindgrasp is Looking for Product Ambassadors

Designed to Shorten the Time to Master Content 

Director of Partnerships Daivat Patel says Mindgrasp, launched in 2021, intends to “enhance learning, not eliminate it.” Mindgrasp is designed to help students, professionals, and creators shorten the time they spend on the tedious process of documentation (taking notes, creating study materials, and other tasks) and more time on learning and mastering content. 

According to Daivat, most students (and professionals) either ignore AI tools or misuse them. The application that several University of Maryland students developed was based on what they needed as busy students who struggled with time management. Many students have demanding athletic schedules, part-time jobs, and other obligations to juggle while attending classes, managing reading assignments, writing papers, and studying for exams. It can be exhausting and frustrating, especially if a student struggles with various educational barriers, as Mindgrasp founder Thai Cao did.  

The application (mindgrasp.ai) allows students to upload a variety of files: mp3 or 4 files, PDF documents, or links to online articles. They can also upload original content by simply cutting and pasting. Their uploaded content saves in their library, from where they can extract useful information in seconds. The app will provide a short summary, “smart” notes, flashcards, and quizzes. The app includes a “focused reading” mode for students that boosts attention and reading fluency. The powerful AI assistant can also answer questions the student asks about the articles or documents in their library.  

“We know that every minute a student spends writing notes and creating flashcards is a minute they’re not spending actually mastering the knowledge,” Daivat says. “We want to give them the power to organize their material quickly so they can spend their mental bandwidth learning it and thinking about it.” 

Looking for Brand Ambassadors and Future Employees 

The Mindgrasp team has 25 core employees, and they’re in the process of recruiting product ambassadors to help spread the word about how the app can revolutionize the way students learn. A Mindgrasp ambassador, Daivat says, doesn’t have to have a business or marketing background. “We’re looking for someone who has tried the product and is passionate about it,” he says. “We’re seeking out students who are outgoing, confident, and who have great communication skills. We’ll ask them to meet with other students or create online content about the app, depending on their individual strengths and preferences.” 

Because Mindgrasp is a startup, ambassadors will also have an opportunity to improve the product and its applications. “We’re hoping to find students who will think critically about what we’re doing, and be confident enough to suggest changes, features, or improvements – even new uses for the product. Every user has the ability to make Mindgrasp better and more effective for every other user.”
