SEATTLE, Wash.- The University of Washington Boundless Futures program uses Podium X to offer student-athletes career development and personal marketing tools. Podium X changes the way student-athletes prepare and apply for jobs and internships, as well as market themselves for NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) prospects.
“Our Boundless Futures student-athlete development team is thrilled to implement Podium X into our programming,” says Amy Landram, Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Development. “At the University of Washington, we are committed to developing student-athletes who excel not only in competition but in the classroom and throughout their lives. The Podium X platform further enhances this mission. The resource helps student-athletes confidently showcase their transferrable skills, leadership experiences, and unique strengths that they bring to every arena of their lives.”
The Podium X platform (www.podiumx.com) allows creation of an online profile that is specially designed for student-athletes to highlight their unique journey and valuable soft skills often developed through athletics. This Podium profile serves as an enhanced resume by listing business, athletic, leadership, educational experience, and even media clips about their sports careers. Student-athletes can create traditional resume PDFs with one click, apply to curated jobs within the platform or external jobs with AI assistance to create cover letters, thank you notes, interview prep and resume optimization.
Podium X is the premier solution for athlete career development, designed by experts in career services, staffing, talent management, and HR. Trusted by more than 14,000 student-athletes, it offers a comprehensive set of tools to support them throughout the career development and job placement process, as well as enhancing personal branding and marketing for sponsorship/NIL opportunities.
