GREENSBORO, N.C. – Players for the Greensboro Groove, who take the court at Novant Health Fieldhouse, now have access to Podium X, a career development platform designed specifically for athletes. The move reflects the organization’s ongoing investment in its players beyond the game itself, giving them professional tools to strengthen their personal brand, prepare for career opportunities, and organize their accomplishments both during and beyond their playing careers.
“We want our athletes to have every opportunity to succeed,” said Jonathan Forsberg, President of the Greensboro Groove, “and that includes investing in resources that help them build their professional futures while continuing to compete at a high level.”
Podium X brings career development tools together into a single platform, giving athletes a professional profile they can use as the foundation for resumes, interview preparation, personal branding, and career searches. Rather than tracking multiple documents and platforms, players maintain one evolving profile that grows with them throughout their careers.
The platform is purpose-built for athletes, helping them showcase leadership, teamwork, discipline, and other transferable skills built through competition, and pairs that with AI-powered tools that customize application materials for opportunities on and off the platform.
Athletes also gain access to job opportunities from employers that recognize the value of the skills developed through competition, connecting them directly with employers during and after their playing careers.
“We admire Greensboro Groove’s commitment to developing the whole player, and we’re proud to support that mission. Our goal has always been simple: help athletes recognize the value of everything they’ve already accomplished and provide tools that make it easier to communicate that value professionally,” said Ann Schulz, President of Podium X.
