CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Crown has partnered with Podium X to give its players access to a career development platform built specifically for athletes. The partnership underscores the organization’s commitment to equipping players with professional resources that grow alongside their athletic careers, helping them build their personal brand, prepare for career opportunities, and organize their professional accomplishments both during and after their time on the court.
“Our athletes have incredible stories to tell,” said Shawn Lynch, President of the Charlotte Crown. “Podium X helps them present those experiences professionally while opening doors to future opportunities.”
Through Podium X, athletes can consolidate career development tools in one place, building a professional profile that serves as the foundation for resumes, interview preparation, personal branding, and career opportunities. Instead of juggling multiple platforms and documents, players can maintain a single evolving professional profile that grows with them over the course of their careers.
Built specifically for athletes, the platform helps users translate leadership, teamwork, discipline, and other skills developed through competition into professional strengths, while offering AI-powered tools to tailor application materials for opportunities both inside and outside the platform.
Athletes can also match with job postings on the platform from companies that specifically value the skills built through competition, giving them a direct line to career opportunities both during and after their playing days.
“We’re honored to support the incredible women of the Charlotte Crown as well as the organization’s commitment to developing the whole player,” said Ann Schulz, President of Podium X. “These athletes have already built remarkable careers through sport, and Podium X helps them continue creating opportunities wherever their professional journeys take them.”
