SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Aztecs Going Pro (AGP), San Diego State Athletics’ comprehensive student-athlete development and life skills program, announced a new partnership with Podium X, a career technology platform designed to enhance professional preparation and career readiness for Aztec student-athletes.
Through the partnership, AGP will primarily use Podium X to support resume development for more than 450 SDSU student-athletes while centralizing access to early-career and internship opportunities. Using Podium X’s internal job board, AGP staff will share curated opportunities from employers both within and outside of athletics, creating a streamlined and consistent way for student-athletes to discover, track, and apply for positions aligned with their interests and career goals.
Podium X provides student-athletes with a modern, athlete-centered professional profile that functions as both a dynamic resume and career management tool. With one click, students can generate traditional resume PDFs and apply to opportunities within the platform or externally using AI-powered assistance for cover letters, interview preparation, thank-you notes, and resume optimization. The platform’s enhanced resume parser allows athletes to upload existing resumes and customize them using more than 20 templates, along with adjustable fonts, colors, layouts, and spacing—giving student-athletes the flexibility to tailor materials for a wide range of industries and roles.
